From 2001 to 2016 Lebetho Mokwena worked at Hair Essentials salon doing hair for diplomats and ambassadors in Botswana. In this time period, he worked at Gaborone Fashion Week as a hairstylist. He then had a star studded opportunity to work at Miss Botswana as a hairstylist. He was also honoured to work as an Overseer at the Hair and Beauty Expo giving guidance to other hairstylists. He started his South African journey in June of 2016 where he gained futher experience at Mane in Melrose Arch, C.Connoisseur in Bryanston, Plush Hair and Beauty in Kyalami and then Metroman in Kyalami. Launching Lebetho Hair Design in 2021 marked a defining moment in Lebetho's career, as it brought with it many challenges. He learned to see each challenge as an opportunity, approaching them from all angles to find the strength and solutions to the challenges within. This problem solving ability and the love in his heart for his clients is what has carried him into this season where he has been able to establish his personal brand as the business empire it is today.
